It is necessary to offer inter disciplinary courses to Engineering students also

Education is to impart sense of realization and sense of proportion. Introduction of interdisciplinary courses gives a sense to combine individuals expectation along with the expectation of family and society. It sharpens mental faculty and integrates individual personality of society. It prevents a technological person to become more materialistic and guide him to be technical with social outlook. A pure technical education inculcates an impression that an individual knows the things in totality leaving no scope for improvement. An individual knows the effect with out knowing the cause and begins his journey of incomplete personality to the wider world having only two options : either to manipulate or get to be manipulated. He looses ability to judge. Education without knowing consequences is illiteracy. He forgets that the requirements of an individual can only be fulfilled when only requirements of society are fulfilled.
Hence system of education should be in a way that can catalyse natural growth of human thinking. A society without proper education and understanding will succum to pressures of globalization. So it is necessary to introduce inter disciplinary courses for students at all levels
